Monkey rehabilitation Centre in South India

Why is it in News?:
  • First rescue and rehabilitation centre for monkeys Telanagana is established.
Details:
  • It is second such facility for the primates in the country.
  • To make the rehabilitation, several fruit & flowering plants that provide shade, medicinal plants would be grown.
  • They would be operated on birth control and will be released into the forests again after rehabilitation period.
