Common Law Admission Test (CLAT)
Why is it in News?
- A petition was filed in the Supreme Court to declare the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) as “erroneous, faulty, defective, discriminatory and violative of fundamental rights of the Constitution”.
- It urged the apex court to quash the exam and order it to be re-conducted.

- CLAT is conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities.
