  • India and EU are engaging in virtual summit where FTA will be discussed including a roadmap for cooperation, an agreement on research sharing for civil nuclear cooperation and launch a maritime security dialogue as well as negotiations between Europol and the CBI.
  • India EU FTA is known as Bilateral Trade and Investment Agreement (BTIA)
  • Many EU officials are worried because India’s new push for self-reliance.
