India-Brazil-South Africa (IBSA)
In line with the UN General Assembly, the 10th India-Brazil-South Africa (IBSA) Dialogue Forum of the Trilateral Ministerial Commission was held in New York (UNGA).
As the current IBSA Chair, India will host the sixth IBSA Summit in November 2022, which will coincide with the G20 Summit.
IBSA summits have only been held five times so far (5th IBSA Summit - Tshwane, October 2011).
IBSA is a special forum that brings together South Africa, Brazil, and India, three sizable democracies and economies from three separate continents that are dealing with comparable issues.
With the approval of the Brasilia Declaration in 2003, the dialogue forum was established.
The conflict and humanitarian crises in Ukraine were strongly decried in the united declaration.
The attending leaders reaffirmed the necessity of pursuing a diplomatic and dialog-based approach as well as their appeal for an immediate end to hostilities.

The IBSA fund is managed by the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation (UNOSSC).
This initiative carries out development projects in other developing nations.
It has provided over US $44 million since its founding to support 39 South-South cooperation development projects in 35 partner countries, the majority of which are Least Developed Countries.
The 2010 MDG Award for South-South Cooperation went to IBSA Fund.
Joint Working Groups
Through 14 Joint Working Groups, sectoral collaborations have been developed in a number of fields, including transportation, health, and education.
People-to-People Forums
There are six People-to-People Forums under IBSA.
Focal Points
Senior Officials from the Foreign Offices of the three countries dealing with IBSA are the designated Focal Points.
They meet once a year for a standalone meeting and also meet prior to the Trilateral Commission.
Trilateral Commission
The Brasilia Declaration established a Trilateral Commission at the level of Foreign Ministers. The Commission meets regularly.
Achievements of IBSA
The three foreign ministers have been holding regular meetings to provide the coalition a coordinated leadership.
The most recent gathering in New York was the tenth of its kind.
Although the IBSA Facility for Poverty and Hunger Alleviation (IBSA Fund) is little funded, it has been successful in carrying out numerous development initiatives in numerous nations.
Haiti, Guinea Bissau, Cape Verde, Burundi, Palestine, Cambodia, Lao PDR, and Sierra Leone are all covered by IBSA initiatives.
Under the IBSA Fund, a sports centre was finished and opened in Ramallah in 2011.
Through the Delhi-based think tank, Research and Information System for Developing Countries, India has been implementing an innovative IBSA Visiting Fellows Program.
The initiative to construct the MERCOSUR-SACU-India Trilateral Free Trade Agreement was one of the IBSA's most important contributions to strengthening economic connections (T-FTA).
